We just want to say a big thank you to UBER for providing two of our TY students with an amazing work experience opportunity. The students shared accounts of their own experience. “Leon: The work experience was great. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and I learned a lot about Uber and how they manage their business. Working in an environment with adults was also very helpful because it gave me a good indication of what working will be like when I'm older. Benard: My honest opinion is that the work environment at Uber was very relaxed and comfortable, and the staff members were very friendly. During my work experience, I learned different skills such as time management and gained an idea of how to manage a big company like Uber. Overall, I had a fun time, even though I had to step out of my comfort zone. We are grateful for the opportunity and would be delighted to do it again if given the chance.
